#SMBenchmark wave two survey now live!
Towards the end of 2011, some 1,500 marketers participated in an online survey for the inaugural wave of our new Social Media Benchmark, our new six-monthly study exploring the role, value and potential of social media in business.
We began a programme to launch the wave one results in February 2012:
• Launch event: over 250 marketers attended the results briefing and panel debate at Bloomberg London, hearing from and putting questions to CIM, Ipsos ASI, YouTube, LinkedIn and the former global mobile chief at Skype.
• Infographic: we published a results infographic in late February
• Report: on 21 March, we published the full report from wave one
So… what’s new in wave two?
We’re not simply repeating the same questions we asked six months ago – we’re going into greater depth on the most pertinent challenges revealed by our first wave.
We’re exploring social media usage, investment and resourcing; how organisations are building digital capability, skills and talent; readiness for data, privacy and regulatory issues; how businesses are making use of social media listening and monitoring; and exploring key barriers to progress in 2012.
Take part today!
The survey only takes, on average, 15mins and is 100% confidential. You’ll receive a complimentary copy of the Social Media Benchmark wave two report (value £95) and a priority invitation to the main launch event and live webcast in June 2012 – so make sure you take part today.

hi
I took part in the survey and really look forward to hearing the outcomes in June. In the meantime would it be possible to have a copy of the questions? Answering the survey has caused me to do some serious thinking about my companies SM usage and a copy of the questions would help me to focus that thinking and start getting some involvement across the company.
Thank you for your help,
Yours faithfully,
David Daniel
